It’s been a busy year for the Virtual Airline and there are lots of new faces who have been welcomed in during this time. We have seen this VA evolve over the course of this year from Manchester Air with a rubbish website and staff team, then Thomas Cook Virtual which was unfortunately shut down because of Thomas Cook copyright issues and now to Kestrel Virtual Airlines with the best tracker, website and staff team we could ask for. Our number of pilots has grown from 3 to over 25 and we have many many partnerships with other organisations. We have now filed 19 PIREPS as a whole including our launch event which is a great number since the launch that was only 4 days ago. We are hoping to see a similar amount of effort from pilots and staff in 2015. We are still constantly changing and adapting and we have now also applied to join the VATSIM PTD in bringing pilots the VATSIM Pilot Ratings so hopefully we will see a vast improvement in training. Thank you to every single member of staff who has given up their time over the year to give something back to the VA. Without this willingness we would not be able to function and for that I am always very grateful. Importantly, thanks to everyone in the VA who continues to fly and get involved to make this such a great Virtual Airline to be a part of. We certainly got the moneys worth out of our nice shiny TeamSpeak Server. Over the next few weeks please be patient with tickets and PIREPS as a lot of our staff spend this time with their families (tis the season). Merry Christmas & And A Happy New Year. All the best, The Kestrel Virtual Airlines Staff Team & Hub Managers.
